Local heroes
In addition to the Appèl locations mentioned above, several subcontractors can also be found on campus. These are local entrepreneurs present with their own concepts. A firm favorite is Coffee & Bikes and Coffee Star Library, where you can go for more than just a delicious cup of coffee. In the Pulse building, there is a food market where three different local heroes offer a delicious assortment of food and drinks daily: NomNom (Vietnamese street food), Chicken Curry & Chips (a mix of Indian, Surinamese, and Brazilian influences), and Njokkie (Italian street food). On the south side of the campus, a similar food market is located in the Fellowship building. Here you will find two subcontractors: Sapori di Casa (Italian) and Maria’s Home Made (Greek).
Food trucks
In the middle of Mekelpark, opposite ME and TN, five rotating food trucks offer various hot meals and snacks every workday between 11:00 and 15:00. You can find the food trucks at: Freezone C.
Café X
Want to enjoy a nice lunch with fellow students? Grab a bite to eat after a ticket hour or course? Or have a drink on the terrace with the team? You can do all of that at Café X! You can stop by every day for a cup of coffee or a meal. Curious about what’s on the menu? View the menus here.
