Herhuisvesting VLLAIR

The Van Leeuwenhoek Laboratory for Advanced Imaging Research (VLLAIR) provides a globally important contribution to the development of innovative microscopes and other imaging tools and, as a result, to international research in general. At the moment the laboratories are individually situated at the Faculty of Applied Sciences. Rehousing them will put them in close proximity to one another thereby taking the first step towards future developments. The new location will be laid out according to a new laboratory concept devised by Professor Pieter Kruit. This transparent lab concept will stimulate cooperation with various faculty’s departments and public-private parties.
