Industrial Catalysis Lab

The former catalysis laboratory of the faculty of Applied Sciences no longer matched TU Delft’s ambitions. Part of the catalysis research had previously been moved from ChemE to the new Applied Sciences building (TNW Zuid). The gas network in this new building is not suitable for the research taking place in the new Industrial Catalysis Lab. Many research tasks require different types of gas pressure. The new Catalysis Lab is an appropriate addition to the Catalysis Lab in Applied Sciences and is inextricably linked to it.

The new accommodation for the Catalysis Lab was created according to the campus strategy:

  • Sufficient high-quality facilities for research
  • Less and better real estate: development towards high-quality buildings, functions and facilities
  • Creating a safe and healthy learning and working environment
  • Increasing sustainability
